HSE Advisor

About the Position:

Due to continued growth PCM Group is currently seeking an experienced and motivated HSE Advisor to join our team in the Pilbara on a 7/7 roster.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide essential HSE support to the project team.
• Continual drive & implementation of a positive HSE culture.
• Lead toolbox meetings & participate including safety meetings.
• Collate daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Promote the Safety Culture within the business that focuses on teamwork and continual improvement that meet and exceed company and client requirements.
• Communicate, advise, monitor and support our crews by being a clearly visible, approachable and trusted member of the team.
• Demonstrated and effective problem-solving ability
• Drive innovative HS&E initiatives including individual and team Key Performance Indicators.
• Effectively communicate to employees and numerous stakeholders at Pre-Start Consultations, Toolbox Meetings, hazard and risk reviews etc.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare reports outlining results and proposed remedies to mitigate risks.
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Liaise with our client’s Health & Safety team to ensure alignment with their procedures and provide timely response to their requests. 

 Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Cert IV WHS
• White Card
• Drivers License
• 3 years HSE related experience in Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure or Marine industry (desirable)
• Computer literate (MS Office)
