Lee's Hotel, the pub with no beer is seeking a Head Chef to join the team! Be a part of the kitchen within this iconic Pub.
As we embark on this exciting new chapter within Lee's Hotel, you will get a unique opportunity to transform the new kitchen which opened in August 2024, develop the menu, onboard your kitchen team, and be a fundamental part of the Hotel!
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operation whilst motivating the team to deliver a high-quality food and dining experience.
About you:
- A Hands-on leader with a proven track record
- Experience running a busy kitchen doing between 250-350 covers a night
- A real passion for the industry and the food you deliver to the guests
- A high level of initiative, with the desire to bring new ideas and suggestions to the table
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- Strong background running successful kitchens - minimum 3 years full-time
- Has the ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised
