Waymark Hotels are on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Assistant Venue Manager to help lead the daily operations at our renowned venues in regional Queensland. In this key role, you'll support the Venue Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of our gaming, bars, restaurant, and accommodation areas, all while delivering authentic hospitality experiences to our valued guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
- Inspire and mentor your team, driving a positive and productive culture focused on excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
- Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
- Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current Approved Manager License, RMLV, and RSG
- A true passion for hospitality, with a natural ability to thrive in high-energy, high-volume environments.
- A hands-on approach, with the ability to manage multiple outlets including food, bar, functions, gaming, and retail.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop your team to reach their full potential.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
