We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a [dynamic] and [experienced] [INSERT ROLE and further information as needed] to join our [business unit] team.

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide electrical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of airfield lighting, electrical supply infrastructure (LV & HV), power generation, terminal facilities, and other critical airport technical assets.
  • Conduct planned and unplanned inspections to ensure the smooth, effective, and safe operation of the airport precinct.
  • Maintain industrial and commercial control systems, including BMS, PLC, and SCADA-based systems.
  • Service and maintain HVAC systems.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tasmanian A-Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent inter-state licence recognised through the National Mutual Recognition Database).
  • Open Cabling Licence.
  • High Risk Work Licence with WP endorsement (Boom Type EWP) – desirable/willingness to obtain.
  • Working at Heights training – desirable/willingness to attain.
  • Industrial White Card – desirable/willingness to attain.
  • Experience with HV and LV network switching and maintenance, power generation systems, and airfield ground lighting systems – desirable.
