 Position: Fitter Machinist (2 Full-Time Roles)

Location: Bethania, Queensland

Due to continued growth, LaserBond is seeking two skilled and motivated Fitter Machinists to join our team at our Queensland premises in Bethania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional lathes with proficiency.
• Utilise technical and mechanical knowledge to perform machining tasks.
• Use a variety of testing and measuring instruments, including gauges, micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, and height gauges.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings accurately.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure all work is completed with a keen attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner / Fitter Machinist.
• Proven experience in machining operations, specifically with conventional lathes.
• Solid technical aptitude and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.
