The LDC Project Team for Larrakia Cultural Centre is seeking Larrakia people, to be part of an advisory group working on the cultural centre.
The Larrakia Advisory Group is required to provide specific cultural review, and feedback to the design and delivery teams for the Cultural Centre. The group will be required to take specific account of the following:
- Ensure designs and stories are appropriate for a public audience;
- Ensure cultural representations are accurate; and
- Ensure equitable contribution, input and representation is provided across all 9 family groups.
Your commitment: The advisory group will generally be required to attend a series of regular monthly meetings, in addition to the reviewing of content circulated by email.
Delivery of the role requirements will entail conversation with community and family members beyond the scope of the meetings and emails, to ensure information is disseminated widely and broad viewpoints noted and all input is disussed.
About the role:
- The role will be by engagement as a contractor to LDC.
- The engagement will be on a part-time basis.
- Workload is expected to be equivalent to a day a week of hours spread across the period.
- A monthly flat fee will apply for hours worked
