About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Enrolled Nurse to join the Graduate Nursing Program in a supportive clinical environment. Graduates in the Enrolled Nursing Graduate program will complete the program in residential aged care to consolidate nursing knowledge and skills.
The Graduate Nurse will be provided with the opportunity to attend a structured orientation program, followed by structured study days throughout the program.
This program has intakes in January and March, you can choose to work 0.6-0.8 FTE.
The program offers you the opportunity to consolidate nursing theory and practice. You are supported by the Education team, clinical support nurses and nurse unit managers and nursing and interprofessional colleagues.

About you
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Administration of Medication Scope of four & five routes for Acute, Aged Care, District Nursing Service or all five for Perioperative
- Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent time management and organisational skills
- Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems
- Ability to work across KDHS in the event of clinical escalation
