The Opportunity:

This position takes full responsibility and leadership for the Batchfire MARC Technicians, HV Electricians and subcontractors; and will coordinate, prepare and support the Team members that are direct reports. This position interacts directly with the client, subcontractors and technical support partners to provide superior products. It is crucial that the Team Leader is a conduit between the customer and our business using our business tools and systems to provide unprecedented service as per K-Way and the Komatsu Customer Support Charter.

Role Located: Batchfire Mine Site

Salary: $170-175k plus allowances

What we are looking for:

  • Must have a Trade Qualification relevant to heavy machinery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team interaction and reporting
  • In-depth understanding of hydraulic excavators, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Komatsu 930 haul trucks, including their specific maintenance and operational needs
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics for accurate diagnostics and repairs
  • Previous experience supervising a team and coordinating machine shuts and large work scopes in a safe and efficient manner
  • A valid Drivers Licence
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Coal Board Medical
