The Opportunity:

Komatsu is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Service Manager for the Townsville Branch. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude and strong leadership skills to the role, ensuring smooth and efficient service operations. The objective is to manage the day to day operational activities of the Service Department through effective team management, safety, WIP management, quote variance, productivity, work quality and vehicle recovery whilst maintaining a high level of customer service in line with the Komatsu Customer Support Charter to meet the expectations of our customer.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Salary : $110-130k per annum

Role Located: Townsville

What we are looking for:

  • Trade qualification related to the Komatsu Business (Heavy Plant, Heavy Vehicle, Auto Electrical or other) Preference for dual trade HV Electrical and Mechanical
  • Must possess a Qld Drivers’ License
  • National Accredited Skills such as Aircon, Forklift and Crane Tickets would be advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of Komatsu Machines.
  • Experienced with Komatsu Manuals maintenance manuals, parts manuals and schematic drawings and comprehension of them
  • General knowledge of Microsoft programs
  • Have an excellent understanding and commitment to Safety and the Environment.
  • Must have well developed written and oral skills.
  • The ability to communicate with the Customer, Komatsu and Site Personnel.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of Supervision in a Safe and Efficient manner.
