The Opportunity:

Due to internal promotions and continued growth, we are currently hiring two driven People Services Officers to join our cohesive team of 8. This pivotal role focuses on the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture division and will be responsible for coordinating the full employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical role in triaging HR enquiries for Komatsu, to facilitating the on-boarding processes, coordinating employee variations, reporting and analytics.

As we evolve, you will have the opportunity to get involved in several exciting projects such as system enhancements, to redesigning standard operating procedures. You will collaborate with the wider People & Culture team on key Employee Lifecycle processes (Performance, Remuneration and Talent processes).

To the successful candidate we offer flexible work arrangements, with up to 3 days working from home per week and flexibility in core hours.

In this role you'll:

  • Be the face and first point of contact for Komatsu employee’s regarding HR related issues;
  • Assisting in onboarding procedures, including managing employment agreements and new hire documentation;
  • Performing regular audits and background checks in SuccessFactors;
  • Coordinating Employee Lifecycle processes including employment variations, SuccessFactors workflows and working with payroll to finalise processes;
  • Supporting People Experience and Remuneration teams in critical processes such as Performance Reviews and Talent Management;
  • Managing Employee Benefit programs, such as parental leave and flexible work agreements, and coordinating onsite vendor visits.
  • Enhancing HR forms and templates, updating People and culture intranet pages;
  • Escalating issues relating to HR and Payroll to the relevant stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 + years of experience in a People & Culture officer or similar position
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Experience working in with Enterprise Agreements
  • Experience working with a HRIS System ideally SuccessFactors, SAP or similar.
  • A team player who can work autonomously.
  • A qualification and or degree in Human Resources or related studies
  • Must of all, you will be humble, genuine and align to Komatsu’s ethics and values
