The Opportunity:

A rare opportunity has become available for a Sales Account Manager to drive our Construction & Utility Sales for New Equipment in North and Northwest Tasmania

The purpose of this position is to maintain existing customer sales and actively develop new business in the region through solutions selling and will require a broad range of skills including negotiations, project management, strategic planning, market analysis and presentation skills.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work with our clients to build long term relations coupled with tenacity, lateral thinking ability, strong technical orientation and ability to develop and adhere to a call plan.

Role Located: Launceston, Tasmania

What we are looking for:

  • Previous background in Construction & Utility Equipment Industry sales
  • Demonstrated product knowledge including mechanical and technical data
  • Highly developed sales skills, with an ability to develop and maintain a proactive call plan
  • Well organised and results orientated
  • Customer centric with well-developed communication skill both written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to implement corporate policy
