The Opportunity:

Join our small and skilled team in Welshpool as a Laboratory Technician, where you'll play a vital role in the preparation and analysis of samples, including oil, coolant, grease, and fuel.

Reporting to the CMS Manager (Western), you will ensure samples are processed accurately, efficiently, and within set KPIs.

You'll also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to guarantee precise analysis results, managing laboratory stock to support seamless operations, and upholding a safe and organized work environment.

Roster: Monday – Friday

What we are looking for:

• Formal qualification in laboratory practices or related scientific field
• Competent computer skills with moderate proficiency
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of staff
• A commitment to safety
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime when required
• A team-oriented, self-motivated approach, with the capability to work independently and without constant supervision
