The Opportunity:

Seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker for an exciting opportunity at Curragh Mine Site. The purpose of this position is to represent Komatsu on a customer’s site. This technician will work along side a team of Komatsu staff to support and complete all Komatsu machine orientated tasks to benefit both the customer and Komatsu. This position is to generate and advise Komatsu hierarchy of any opportunity and or risk which will allow the Komatsu to manage the Komatsu brand in line with business strategies and the Support Charter.

Roster: 7/7 rotating day and night shift (gate to gate)

Annualised Salary: $178,038.79 + Allowances + Super

Role Located: Curragh Coal Mine

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification – Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication / Welding)
• Previous experience in a similar role - conducting crack repairs, tray relining, mobile plant maintenance
• Must possess a valid Drivers’ Licence (HR License an advantage).
• Possess high risk work licences such as: Forklift, telehandler, EWP and Crane (advantageous)
• Must have or be able to obtain a the Qld Black Coal Generic Induction (S11)
• Must have the appropriate demeanour to create and work in a positive team atmosphere.
• Have a high level attitude for continuous Improvement within your Field of Expertise.
