Technician - Field Service Remarketing

The Opportunity:

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across Komatsu Service and Remarketing Departments, with tasks spanning our branches, sub-contractor yards, and customer sites.

Reporting to the Remarketing Operations Supervisor, you’ll self-manage jobs while collaborating with various teams, working on exciting rebuild projects on Komatsu Machinery ensuring they are warranty approved for customer use. We’re looking for someone who can not only uphold high standards but also contribute to improving our practices, ensuring our workspaces are always in top condition.

This position will:

• Become an expert across Komatsu machinery and Smart Construction technologies
• Lead exciting rebuild projects from initial inspections to completion
• Travel between varied branches, yards, and customer sites
• Forge strong bonds with stakeholders across the business
• Orchestrate your own workflow across Remarketing, Service, Parts and more

Role Located: Fairfield with travel across NSW region

Roster: Day shift, Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate plus tool of trade vehicle, plus super and overtime (time and half / double time)

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have your Cert III or Equivalent in Mobile Plant Technology
• Experience working as a Field Service Technician is preferred with exposure to breakdown, repairs and diagnostics
• A Valid driver’s Licence
• Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
• Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
• Safety focused mindset is paramount.
• Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work unsupervised.
