The Opportunity:

We have a rare opportunity for a Production Technical Writer to perform the role of a Document Specialist in the Engineering Department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to compile comprehensive manuals for equipment featuring locally engineered designed options.

Your responsibilities will include gathering documentation like drawings, third-party manuals, and schematics, and overseeing the production of both hard copy and electronic manuals such as Operation and Maintenance (OM) Manuals and Parts (PB) Manuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in managing documentation processes effectively.

What we are looking for:

  • Prior Technical Writing/Document Control experience
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint
  • Possess the ability to learn internal software quickly
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
  • Thrive under pressure and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Must prioritise safety and risk mitigation
