The Opportunity:
As part of our pre-delivery inspection team, you'll complete assembly of Komatsu OEM machinery including dump trucks, dozers, excavators and loaders.
You'll ensure they comply with our optimum quality standard before being delivered to our clients. This will include base assembly, fitment of customer specified local options and performance testing of machinery whilst ensuring compliance with SWP installation guides and our customer’s requirements.
As a Workshop Technician you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. Did you know Komatsu is an RTO? This means we can support your learning with a range of courses including trade upgrades and the best news is you're paid to do it. Our employees are encouraged to complete 2 courses per year.
Roster: Day Shift (06:30 - 15:00) | Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: Up to $46.76 an hour base, plus super, plus plenty of overtime.
Location: Fairfield Branch - Free onsite parking and company run café

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have a certificate or trade qualification in Electrotechnology or similar.
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, however all OEMs considered
- A minimum of C class Licence
- Auto Electrical experience and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A proven high level of customer service
