The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a number of Resident Field Service Technicians to be based in Millmerran. As one of our Resident Field Service Technicians you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of equipment to ensure optimum quality, availability and performance, while developing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping equipment in top shape—reliable, ready, and in optimum condition
- Setting the safety bar high and leading by example.
- Diagnosing issues, using onboard data and manuals.
- Writing clear service reports that cover the complaint, cause, and correction.
- Logging timesheets, reporting hazards, and keeping the crew safe and efficient.
- Set an example of commitment to safety at all times by actively engaging in all aspects of safety and performance
- Assist the team in the planning of maintenance schedules and workload by engaging in positive communication
Roster: 7/7 Day only - 6am to 6pm (Drive in/out Millmerran)
Annualised Wages: $156,035 + Allowances + Accommodation

What we are looking for:
- Trade qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent).
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral to effectively communicate with customers and personnel at all levels
- An excellent understanding and commitment to Safety
- Must have a working knowledge local and mine specific, Environment, OH&S, and Industrial legislation Ability to analyse technical problems and suggest remedies
- Ability to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical Drawings
- Team player with a create a positive 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience with Komatsu equipment
- Sound Trouble Shooting Skills
- Previous exposure to Maintenance and Operational Policies
