Technical Support Representative

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

We have a great opportunity for a qualified and highly experienced HV Electrician with extensive experience on Komatsu Electric Drive Trucks - 930E.

This position is integral to our Technical Service team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service on-site at one of our customer's sites based in the Bowen Basin.

The core responsibilities for this position are:

• Look at ways to maximise Komatsu equipment’s availability, reliability and productivity
• Providing technical support, diagnostics and troubleshooting for Komatsu Electric Drive Trucks
• Reporting on regular machine issues
• Creating detailed technical documentation and providing recommendations / resolutions for equipment performance issues

Role Located: On customer site (DIDO from either Mackay / Emerald)

Roster: 7 days on and 7 days off, Thursday to Wednesday, day shift only

Remuneration: $165K+ per year + fleet vehicle + bonus + super

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have your Cert III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) (or equivalent) & QLD Electrical Licence
• Previous experience troubleshooting Komatsu Electric Drive Trucks - 930E
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings
• An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management
• Ability to analyse / troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and provide solutions
• Current driver's licence
• Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work unsupervised
