 The Opportunity:

Komatsu Gladstone Branch is seeking a Workshop Leading Hand to join the team. The Leading Hand will work under the direction of the Service Supervisor to maintain and repair the Komatsu range of equipment to ensure optimum quality, availability and performance. Carry out maintenance and repairs on any other equipment nominated by the Company. Actively participate in communication and data collection between Komatsu and the nominated resident technician customer base to maintain and improve relationships. Leading the Conponent and Rebuild Teams

Roster: 7/7 Roster - days only, No Public Holidays

 What we are looking for:

  • Certified Tradesperson.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Technical expertise in construction and mining equipment.
  • Lead and supervise workshop operations.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency in all workshop activities.
  • Mentor and train workshop staff.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Be able to work unsupervised.
  • An ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Must have an extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and components.
  • Current understanding of Komatsu ICT systems i.e. Komtrax, EQP Care, Link One, QLD Aftermarket Database
