The Opportunity:

Join our innovative team at an exciting new mine site as our Maintenance Planner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of heavy machinery through meticulous planning and scheduling.

Your primary responsibilities include reconciling machine downtime, coordinating maintenance tasks with site personnel, and ensuring timely procurement of parts and labour. Strong computer skills and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling a small fleet of Komatsu Dump Trucks, Dozers and an Excavator.

Role Located: Curragh Mine Site

Roster: Monday to Friday

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive maintenance planning and scheduling experience in the mining industry is mandatory
  • Qualification in Maintenance and Repair of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment is preferred
  • Must hold a current motor vehicle license
  • Able to Obtain Qld Coal Board Medical and Qld Coal GI passport
  • Commitment to safety, actively engage in Zero Harm philosophy
  • Communicate effectively with end users at all levels
  • Supervise, assist, and train staff to foster a positive team atmosphere
  • Business management experience, including basic accounting knowledge
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to achieve goals unsupervised
  • Previous experience with oil analysis
