The Opportunity: The role of Customer Projects Manager is to provide support to customers by coordinating Sales, Planning & Operations activities for component supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all support aspects of a customer shutdown are met, including responding to Reman Component queries, processing sales orders & quotes in conjunction with the Sales Demand Plan to ensure operational standards are met through:
- Order management, including processing Customer enquiries, quotes, purchase orders, backorder management and delivery status to achieve DIFOT (Delivery In Full & On Time) for our Customers
- Shutdown management, including comparing Sales Orders to the Sales Demand Plan to ensure best continuity of dates between Sales, Planning and Operations
- Invoicing – Ensuring all Sales Orders are invoiced, assisting regional teams with additional core charges and processing credits in line with Komatsu Policy
- Participating & contributing to continuous improvement & quality assurance activities to drive efficiency in all aspects of the business
- To act as an effective two-way communication conduit to ensure all departments (Sales, Planning & Operations) understand the voice of Customer & provide feedback of the outcomes
- Management of the Customer Projects Team to comply with all Company policies & procedures to ensure timely and professional resolution of issues and business improvements recommendations · Identifying, managing and reporting on the KPIs for the Customer Projects Team to deliver optimal Customer satisfaction in line with the above
- Escalation point for issues related to inability of component supply and driving resolution outcome
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities to improve component cycle time
- Ensure execution of component tracking for component deliveries

What we are looking for:
- A Self-Starter with a highly motivated and driven approach to balance the needs of the organisation and the Customer
- Strong ability to motivate, manage and influence direct & indirect teams across multiple business functions
- Highly proficient across Microsoft applications
- Sound working knowledge of earthmoving equipment and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional Customer service skills and build strong working relationships
- Appropriate demeanour for communicating with Customers at a senior level and providing a professional service
- Proven understanding of Parts Sales including outstanding negotiation skills and persuasive ability to hold personal and professional standards of behaviour and ethics
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability
Qualification/s
- Trade/Tertiary qualification will be highly regarded
