The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process payment runs, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address inquiries related to invoices and payments.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Role Located: Fairfield, NSW

Roster: 2 days per week.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar financial position.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
