The Opportunity:

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Leading Hand? Join our team and take on the role of coordinating our talented Service Department technicians to carry out necessary repairs. As a leader, you'll be responsible for motivating and inspiring our team, ensuring they deliver their best performance every day. 

Communication is key, as you'll have daily interactions with the Supervisor, internal staff, and external suppliers and contractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective workflow. You'll have the chance to review work practices, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance safety and efficiency, making a real impact on our operations. 

Additionally, maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in the workshop will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring a clean and organized environment that complies with the renowned 5S standard. Roster: Monday - Friday

What we are looking for: 

  • Relevant trade qualification with extensive industry experience
  • Strong understanding of earthmoving machinery – preferably Komatsu
  • Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and inventory management software
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and needs in a dynamic work environment.
