Technician - Field Service

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Lineboring Technician to join the team in Newman.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of the role is ensuring line boring and machining activities are carried out with a high degree of safety, accuracy and professionalism. Additionally, you will be performing a range of maintenance, fitting and machining tasks.

Training will be provided in OEM specific line boring procedures.

Role Location/Roster: Newman Residential or FIFO from Perth 2/1 or 2/2

 Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Trade Certificate – Fitter Machinist 
• Ability to demonstrate competency in use of Line Boring Equipment
• Be able to provide accurate scopes for quoting rebuild and remanufacturing repairs
• Competent with free welding techniques for adhoc repairs
• Coordinating required departmental reporting such as TSI & warranty claim processes
• Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment highly regarded  
• Current MR classification driver's licence (minimum requirements) or ability to obtain
