The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the purpose of the Technician is to provide high quality trades skills to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired within company policies and guidelines providing aftermarket support to the existing and new customer base. The Technician will predominantly be doing servicing to begin with, with a view to progressing into a Leading Hand for the right candidate.

Roster: Monday to Friday Roster or 9 day fortnight

Role Located: Whyalla Branch

What we are looking for:

  • Certified Tradesperson.
  • Had previous experience in a similar position.
  • Holds a current driver’s license/ or MR licence.
  • Be able to work unsupervised.
  • An ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Must have an extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and components.
  • Work as an active Komatsu Australia team member.
  • Pride in workmanship.
  • Must have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computers, smartphones, and technology-based reporting systems
