SPEARHEAD THE ADOPTION OF OUR INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN QUEENSLAND

The Opportunity:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind the growth and adoption of Komatsu's Smart Construction solutions within Queensland.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Empower sales teams to effectively sell Smart Construction products, showcasing key technological advantages over competitors
• Champion tech adoption in quarrying and mining, including Smart Quarry Site
• Introduce customers to innovations like Edge 2 and Dashboard for drone data
• Offer on-site/remote support: localisation, setup, calibration, and 3D data guidance.

Role located: Wacol, QLD – regular travel to customer sites throughout Queensland

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

This role offers the chance to:

• Work with a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies, including intelligent Machine Control (iMC), drone data processing solutions, aftermarket machine control systems, and more.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, including Technical Advisors, Sales Managers, and Operations Managers, to ensure seamless customer support and resource utilization.
• Build strong relationships with customers at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for Komatsu's Smart Construction solutions.

What we are looking for:

• A deep understanding of digital site systems and applications, coupled with hands-on experience in integrated machine control setup, calibration, operation, and training.
• Proven expertise in aftermarket positioning, weighing systems, or similar technology installations, encompassing calibration, operation, and training.
• A commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional presentation skills to effectively promote solutions to a diverse customer base.
• Strong teamwork orientation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to management, colleagues, and customers.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and provide regular progress updates.
• A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance processes and deliver exceptional value to both Komatsu and its customers.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, adhering to and promoting safety policies to ensure a secure and productive work environment.
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.

Qualifications: While not mandatory, relevant qualifications in a technical field are highly regarded.
