Senior Field Service Mechanic

The Opportunity: 

Due to customer growth, we are seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to join our Komatsu Forklifts division in our Melbourne branch. This permanent full-time role will be servicing our clients in and around Victoria.

Your primary function is to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu Forklifts customer equipment. You'll see variety in your job day-today and get to meet and establish relationships with a wide variety of client sites. You'll also contribute to our professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts.

We also provide a tool of trade vehicle, phone and laptop/tablet and uniforms/PPE for all our employees.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with RDO’s accrued (8-hour days) + overtime we require minimum 1 hour per day.

Role Located: Melbourne, VIC

Rate: Up to $49.06 ph + Super + Overtime + Vehicle + Phone + Tablet + Uniforms

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities we're Looking For:

• 10+ years experience
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience with servicing and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components is required. Experience as a Forklift Technician or exposure to Forklifts is highly regarded!
• A minimum of C class Licence
• Forklift licence
• Ability to follow required job scope & critical path
•  Safety focused mindset is paramount
• Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work unsupervised
• A proven high level of customer service
