Patient Suites Model: 

KnG Healthcare’s Patient Suites is specifically tailored to accommodate patients who require healthcare services outside of the standard hospital environment. These patients continue to require health care in a clinically supported accommodation environment.

Our model endeavours to create a restorative and healing environment for patients, prioritising their well-being and continuing their healthcare while simultaneously alleviating the burden on hospital resources.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Team Leader Registered Nurse, your role will encompass:

  • Providing best practice nursing care, including comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Supporting the delivery of safe, person and family-centered patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of treatment and care provision, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
  • Participating in clinical supervision for Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Completing mandatory training and participating in performance reviews to uphold professional development standards.
  • Undertaking clinical shifts, including participation in the on-call, after-hours, and weekend roster as required.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Competent professional nursing practice in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in patient management.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making skills, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer software and database entry to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Essential Documentation/Declarations:

To be considered for this position, you must provide:

  • Registered Nurse qualifications and AHPRA registration, demonstrating compliance with professional standards.
  • Police Check with no disclosable offences, ensuring suitability for employment.
  • Australian Workers Rights documentation, affirming eligibility for employment in Australia.
  • Compliance with Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Certification and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 & Influenza, prioritising patient and staff safety.
  • Minimum of 12-months Hospital work experience, showcasing relevant clinical expertise.
  • Reliable Transportation, enabling timely attendance for shifts and on-call duties.
