Assistant in Nursing (AIN) - Home Care - Mount Marta (6 hour per week)

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and trusted AIN who can provide comprehensive home care with an elderly client 2 twice per week for 3 hours shifts, flexible timing. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about making a positive impact and shares our commitment to excellence in client care. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with food preparation, taking into consideration individual dietary needs. 
• Provide support with dressing and personal care tasks. 
• Assist with mobility and conduct light exercises. 
• Monitor medications as directed by healthcare professionals. 
• Support in household activities and perform light cleaning. 
• Foster companionship and engage in meaningful conversations. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Previous experience in home care (6+ months). 
• Availability for morning, afternoon or evening shifts on a weekly basis. 
• Proficient in food preparation, dressing assistance, and mobility support. 
• Monitoring use of regular medications and nutrition. 
• Ability to assist with light household tasks. 
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
