Accounts Officer

(Casual, Remote)

This is a casual role of approximately 16 – 20 hours per week commencing January 2025 offering remote work arrangements (with the possibility of the occasional requirement to attend in person meetings).

About the Role

In this role, you’ll provide crucial support as a member of our Finance team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining supplier accounts.
  • Supporting accounts payable tasks.
  • Completing data entry for financial records.
  • Accounts payable/receivable functions.
  • Contributing to month-end processing and reporting.
  • Communicating with external agencies to resolve account issues.
  • Collaborating with team members across the business.
  • Performing general administrative tasks.
  • Managing debt collection processes.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a background in accounts who takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient results. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • A willingness to learn and share knowledge in a team environment.
