Driver / Pet Transport

At Kip Hunter Valley, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through it's doors. We are now looking for the pick of the litter to complement our existing team and help contribute to providing a premium service to the local pets through our pet transport service.

The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours across the week (including but not limited to Mondays and Fridays which are our peak days), with shifts starting as early as 3am. Availability to work across all school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport animals from client homes to facility
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Handle animals in line with company policies and procedures
  • Follow the company's collection procedures and protocols
  • Optimise the collection and drop-off schedule
  • Following up queries and abandoned bookings
  • Check in/check out pets
  • Answering emails and phone calls

Experience / Requirements:

  • Confidence and ability to drive in Sydney traffic required
  • Animal handling experience of dogs (up to large/giant breed) and cats highly regarded
  • Honest with a high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding level of customer service
  • Ability to safely drive long distances
  • Problem solver
  • Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
  • Full Australian drivers licence
