At Doggo's on Shelomith (Kip Cambridge), the Site Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the site. This role blends hands-on pet care with strategic leadership, people management, and business operations. You'll lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional pet care, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, an drive site growth and success. You'll enjoy access to support functions within our Head Office - we're here to help you succeed!

The ideal candidate will be available to work hours between 7am-6pm, Monday through Sunday - rosters can be discussed with shortlisted candidates but typically reflect a five-day work week inclusive of one weekend day or a nine day fortnight with rotating weekends. Availability to work across all school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required.

Relocation assistance may be available for interstate candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing team to provide best-in-class pet care.
  • Work in the day-to-day operations of the site - must love dogs!
  • Manage site operations, including rostering, compliance, and facility upkeep.
  • Oversee customer service, ensuring positive experiences and efficient bookings.
  • Monitor and drive site financial performance, optimising bookings and profitability.
  • Maintain site cleanliness, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Handle pet health concerns, incidents, and ensure clear communication with pet owners.
  • Manage social media engagement, showcasing the Kip experience.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous paid animal care experience is highly regarded but not essential. If you have a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!
  • Passionate about pet care, with a hands-on approach and a customer-first mindset.
  • Must have previous experience leading a team of people.
  • Management of site based operations is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail.
  • Time management skills, a can-do attitude and initiative to exceed outcomes and expectations at high quality.
  • Quick learner and a willingness to get your hands dirty with on-the-job experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure.
  • Competent with computer systems with intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
