As an apprentice painter and decorator with our client, you'll get hands-on training across residential and commercial sites.
Join a supportive crew where you can grow your expertise in areas like:
- Sanding, patching, and priming surfaces
- Interpreting plans and specifications
- Protecting surfaces and cleaning up work sites
- Safely operating tools and equipment
- Matching, mixing, and applying paints and finishes
We provide structured on-the-job training paired with theory-based learning. You'll work towards gaining your Certificate III in Painting and Decorating while being employed as a Kestrel Apprentice.
As part of the Kestrel team, you'll have access to:
- A dedicated Field Officer for ongoing mentoring
- Provision of PPE
- Payment of course enrolment fees
- Matching with a suitable Host Employer
Requirements
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
- Able to commit/complete a four-year apprenticeship
- White card prior to commencement
