The Opportunity

As a Family Office Accountant, you will become an integral part of the Kelly+Partners team. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years' experience in a public practice environment and experience working with high net-worth individuals and/or family office.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and review the preparation of financial statements and reports for family office
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of tax returns, optimizing tax strategies, and identifying tax-efficiency opportunities
  • Lead and review the preparation of bookkeeping processes including; BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Monitor investments portfolios and reconcile transactions for reporting
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to the operations of the family office
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Experience working with high net-worth individuals and family office preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
