The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated IT Operations Support who will play a key role in the business' future growth and development. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will support the Kelly+Partners services team responsible for the management of Information Technology requests for the group. This opportunity may also require occasional on-site support to our many offices across the Greater Sydney region, New South Wales and Inter-state.

Position Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal support request, you will be the face of the services team
  • Logging requests it the ticketing system and adhering to service levels
  • Escalation and ownership of requests submitted to our Service Providers and vendors
  • Assist with change management and support of new technology
  • Update documentation and procedure of the operating environment
  • Responsible for understanding customer requirements, collecting data, problem resolution and resolution of requests
  • Onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Maintains the problem management tool to minimize the adverse impact of Incidents and to prevent recurrence of Incidents
  • Maintains the Configuration Management Database with all Kelly Partners business critical configuration items
  • Providing staff in-depth visibility of all accumulated IT assets and services
  • Maintains the asset management tool to monitor and manage assets on the network from Implementation to disposal
  • Configuring user access to core business applications
  • Quotation and the procurement of IT equipment, with management approval
  • Support hardware refresh cycles including the rollout and secure disposal of hardware
  • Support Acquisitions and system integration
  • Is responsible for reporting on service levels of their own role

About You

  • University degree / diploma in the field of computer science or experience in an IT support or similar role
  • Holds a valid Drivers License
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Expertise in managing requests via ticketing systems
  • Hands-on experience with user administration and data networks
  • Successful record of understanding and logging complex requests
  • Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
