The Opportunity

As a Bookkeeper, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Preparing BAS and other statutory lodgements for review by your supervisor
  • Carrying out monthly accounts’ reconciliations and financial statement preparation
  • Perform bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations
  • Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
  • Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings
  • Carrying out data processing tasks on a monthly basis for our clients
  • Using accounting software to create management reports for clients

About You

  • Minimum of 2 experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a chartered accountancy firm is highly desirable
  • Possess a Certificate IV in bookkeeping/accounting or a bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
