 The Opportunity

As a Strata Auditor, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. You will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow as a professional and into leadership positions. Position Responsibilities

  • Proficient in audit techniques, sampling methods, and risk assessment procedures
  • Ability to analyse financial statements for accuracy, completeness and compliance with Strata legislation
  • Familiarity with strata legislation and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction, as these often dictate financial reporting requirements
  • Understanding how Owners Corporations manage budgets, levy contributions and maintain long term maintenance funds
  • Insights into typical strata expenses in relation to common property and their impact on financial reporting
  • Communicate identified issues with the client, both orally and written, and discuss approaches to resolve these issues
  • Provide software assistance as required to enable clients to optimise the use of their accounting systems
  • Support the set up of new and existing clients with accounting software
  • Actively manage work in progress by preparing invoices for the work completed
  • Participate in client meetings where required
  • Liaise with third parties when required for the completion of audit queries
  • Staying Current: keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and strata legislation

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Audit or Accounting
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Familiarity with audit tools and accounting software commonly used in strata accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
