What you’ll do:

  • Engage in open communication and regular reporting with project stakeholders, advising on risks, scope gaps, and Value Management opportunities.
  • Ensure risks identified in Design Reviews are actioned and closed out, while coordinating file structures and Aconex systems with the team prior to project commencement.
  • Assist Estimating and Business Development teams with concept design cost planning, and support the tender/submission/ECI phase.
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor Design Programs and Budgets, and manage design meetings, workshops, and consultant engagements.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of design approaches, systems, procedures, and documentation to enhance project efficiency.

Who you are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Architecture, with experience in a similar role in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
  • Extensive design experience with large new builds and fit-outs, and a sound understanding of design principles and compliance codes.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and time management skills, with exposure to SharePoint and Aconex.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong team-focused approach.
