We have an opportunity for a People and Culture Advisor to join the People and Culture Team. You will deliver expert strategic and operational advice while proactively assessing and anticipating people needs. You’ll enjoy influencing and creating strong relationships with key stakeholders through your ability to collaborate, communicate, develop and deliver value-added P & C services to Kapitol Group.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide expert people advice and recommendations to teams
  • Provide advice on policies and procedures, monitoring compliance
  • Manage and resolve ER issues
  • Support onboarding and offboarding for a seamless people experience
  • Delivery of strategic projects within P&C operations
  • Manage the annual performance cycle and all related systems and documentation
  • Provide day to day guidance on performance management and fostering high performance teams
  • Complete contract variations, process terminations, remuneration and benefits reviews
  • Management of immigration and sponsorship processes
  • Manage the annual WGEA reporting process, and other data and reporting requirements
  • Continual improvement of systems and process.

About you:

  • Passion for creating an exceptional employee experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 4+ years’ experience working in a Human Resources/People and Culture function
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, including ER and employment legislation
  • Proficiency with Gen-AI, Microsoft suite, HRIS, LITMOS or similar platforms
  • A meticulous eye for detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of a business, with the ability to build positive relationships and maintain strict confidentiality.
