This is an exciting 7-storey construction data centre project based in the heard of the CBD.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the delivery of cost-effective services construction, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, design, and building code requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to procure services consultants and subcontractors, while meeting all client requirements in head and subcontracts.
  • Manage services design and procurement programs, oversee subcontractor work, and adjust schedules to meet project goals.
  • Govern rectification of issues raised by stakeholders, manage sub-contractor claims, and supervise defect resolution.
  • Deliver monthly progress reports, pursue green building/sustainability requirements, and identify new technologies to improve operations.

Who You Are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent trade background, with extensive experience in services engineering or coordination.
  • Prior experience with Tier 1 or 2 builders on large commercial building services projects, and in-depth knowledge of the NCC/BCA and building services requirements.
  • Extensive experience coordinating services subcontractors/consulting engineers, with strong understanding of construction trades and quality/safety requirements.
  • Well-developed skills in planning, project management, client management, negotiation, collaboration, and communication, with exposure to the bidding process.
