We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and proactive Bid Coordinator to work as a part of our New Business team. Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, this role will focus on producing high quality, consistent submissions that maximise the potential for Kapitol Group securing new work.
What you’ll do:
- End-to-end bid coordination to ensure high quality and timely submissions which stand out from competition
- Use your refined Graphic Design skills to ensure professional, high-quality graphics and formatting within our submissions
- Analyse tender requirements and produce appropriate schedules and plans
- Coordinate attendees and participate in bid kick-off meetings including creating action registers
- Oversee contributors/SMEs to tenders, ensuring their understanding of requirements and on time delivery
- Provide administrative support to Bid Managers and the Senior Bid Manager
- Cultivate strong professional relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
- Liaise with Marketing as required to ensure brand consistency
- Maintain the team’s files in our document management system for ease of finding information.
About you:
- Previous experience in a Bid Coordination role, ideally in construction or a related industry
- Advanced graphic design capability and proficiency with InDesign (desirable)
- Sound understanding of the end to end tender, RFQ and ECI process
- Able to context switch, work on multiple projects at any one given time and handle competing priorities
- Refined attention to detail, proofreading and formatting skills
- Work well autonomously and within a team committed to organisational success
- Highly motivated with a positive, can do attitude
- Strong planning, program, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced collaboration, interpersonal, communication, and client-focused skills
