About the Role:
As the Service Development Lead, you’ll work closely with the operational leadership group to identify priorities, drive innovation, standardize service delivery, and ensure contemporary, person-centered care is at the heart of everything we do.
This role is a key enabler of our care transformation agenda, focused on delivering services that are effective, multidisciplinary, and free from avoidable harm. You’ll also champion strong customer engagement and use data to guide strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of aged care services to better meet customer needs.
- Support operational leaders to align goals and drive business unit priorities.
- Facilitate the innovation agenda and implement evidence-based solutions.
- Standardize and document processes to ensure consistency and high quality.
- Implement best practice models in collaboration with Clinical Governance.
- Foster meaningful engagement with customers, ensuring their voices inform service development.
- Monitor service delivery data and feedback to inform planning and decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through to successful delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of aged care regulations, quality standards, and innovation in service delivery.
- Demonstrated success in service development, innovation, and change management.
- Strong track record in using data to support strategic decisions and quality improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Project management expertise with the ability to deliver outcomes on time and within scope.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive change.
