About the Role

Juniper is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial operations and grants management across our Residential, Community, Retirement Living, and Corporate Services divisions. Based at our Central Office in Balcatta and reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and the sustainability of our services.

You will oversee a team of dedicated finance professionals and partner with executive and operational leaders to provide strategic insights and drive funding optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Oversee the entire grants lifecycle – from application and compliance to reporting and acquittals
  • Provide financial advice and support to executive and operational stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence
  • Manage audits, risk, governance, and compliance in a regulated aged care environment
  • Drive enhancements to financial systems, reporting tools, and operational processes
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives within Corporate Services

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA highly regarded)
  • Strong experience in financial leadership, preferably in aged care, health, or community services
  • Demonstrated success in managing grants and government funding
  • Proven track record in financial planning, risk management, and audit readiness
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong team leadership, with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team
  • Experience with financial systems such as Epicor, Prophix, AvantCare, Medius AP or PowerBi is advantageous
