This full-time role is based at Juniper Central in Balcatta.
About the Role:
As a People and Culture Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in providing HR support and employee relations expertise. This role focuses on partnering with management and staff to navigate employment matters, drive compliance, and promote a fair and supportive work environment. Your work will contribute to building a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional advice on employment matters, ensuring clear and consistent guidance for managers and staff.
- Lead and assist with Enterprise Agreement negotiations, ensuring alignment with legislation and organizational goals.
- Support managers through performance management and dispute resolution processes, fostering positive outcomes.
- Research and recommend strategies for addressing industrial relations reforms and emerging workplace trends.
- Advise on and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for employees and teams.
- Lead and deliver special HR projects, including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and provide insights to improve staff retention and engagement.
About You:
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and have the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist, People and Culture, or related advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Proven experience in employee relations, including workplace investigations and Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- High-level integrity and discretion when managing sensitive or confidential matters.
- A proactive approach to fostering compliance and a positive work environment.
