Juniper Aged Care is seeking a Compliance Advisor to support the organization in meeting regulatory, accreditation, and quality requirements across home care, residential aged care, affordable housing, and independent living. This role is critical in ensuring compliance is embedded within business operations and risk mitigation strategies.
About the Role:
The Compliance Advisor will monitor regulatory changes, maintain compliance registers, support accreditation processes, and provide guidance to service leaders and business units. The role involves collaboration with operational teams, risk and assurance functions, and governance managers to ensure organizational compliance.
Based at our Central Office in Balcatta, the Compliance Advisor will monitor regulatory changes, maintain compliance registers, support accreditation processes, and provide guidance to service leaders and business units. This role involves close collaboration with operational teams, risk and assurance functions, and governance managers to ensure organizational compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret aged care, disability, and housing regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support accreditation applications, re-accreditation, and compliance audits.
- Track compliance activities, maintain registers, and provide reports to senior leaders.
- Act as a compliance advisor, providing guidance and training on regulatory obligations.
- Work with governance and risk management teams to implement compliance strategies.
- Promote a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies.
Key requirements:
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or accreditation within aged care, health, or community services.
- Strong knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks, including Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Standards, and industry accreditation.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements to business operations.
- Qualifications in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Current National Police Clearance and a valid driver’s license.
