About the Role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the In Work Support Officer plays a critical role in providing ongoing support to job seekers who have secured employment. You will mentor and coach individuals, helping them navigate the challenges of their new roles and ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed. Your responsibilities will include regular check-ins with clients, providing guidance on workplace issues, and connecting them with additional support services as needed to ensure sustainable ongoing employment. You will also collaborate with employers to foster a positive working relationship.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment will set you up for success in this role
  • Experience within Employment Services or related industry is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Cert IV in Employment Services is preferred, but not essential

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.

About You:

You will be a dedicated professional with a strong background in employment services or related fields. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and employers. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are essential, as well as the ability to provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of every client. Knowledge of Disability Employment Services or Disability Sector will be highly regarded.

You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes
