About the Role
We're thrilled to offer an opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our supportive and experienced Internal Audit team, where collaboration and growth are at the heart of what we do.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing and adding value to our Group, its related entities, and the Market business units by providing independent, objective assurance and advisory activities. You’ll lead and support a variety of internal audit projects, where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of assignments and contribute to strengthening the organisation’s governance, risk management, and control processes in an exciting and evolving business environment.
Beyond traditional audit work, you’ll also contribute to advisory services and support special projects, including management-initiated reviews, data analytics initiatives, facilitation, and fraud investigations. This role provides a chance to see the full lifecycle of your engagements and witness the positive impact of your work across the organisation.
A Little About You:
- You bring strong experience in Internal and/or External Audit, with a background from a “Big 4” firm, professional services, or a large corporate organisation.
- A true team player, you enjoy collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve meaningful results together.
- You’re known for delivering assurance and advisory services that add value in energy, utilities, or similar sectors.
- Your communication skills allow you to build positive stakeholder relationships, balancing diplomacy with a proactive approach.
- Experience with IT, Continuous Auditing, and Data Analytics would be a plus.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, economics, or engineering is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA are valued.
- You have a working knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks.
- Knowledge of the energy sector and industry trends, paired with analytical curiosity, would be ideal as you explore the "what, so what, and now what" of strategic and risk drivers.
