About the role
At Jemena, our business resilience roles focus on ensuring the company’s ability to withstand and recover from disruptions, including designing and implementing resilience strategies, managing risk, and assuring overall enterprise resilience.
The Business Resilience Lead will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and provide strategic and technical leadership. The role is accountable for driving alignment between business disruption risk and business resilience framework and supporting continuous improvement of our resilience concepts and capabilities that address current and future risk and operating environments.
Key Responsibilities include
- Design, development and implement business resilience strategies
- Disruption-based risk management
- Assurance Strategies
- Supporting the delivery and implementation of Jemena’s Crisis, Emergency and Business Continuity Management Program
- Manage the Emergency Management roster
About you
The successful candidate will have experience in risk management, risk governance and risk assurance, strategic business planning, or business resilience framework design in a critical infrastructure environment or professional services. Ideally, you will have experience in applying relevant emergency management legislation, disruption risk practices in a large and complex organisation. Along with;
- Strong understanding of business continuity and resilience principles within a critical infrastructure company.
- Ability to identify and assess operational risks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Project management skills to lead the design, development and implementation of resilience programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
