Overview of our role
At Jemena, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. We’re looking for a Senior Test Manager to lead testing efforts across multiple programs and projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our customers and stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our testing strategy, overseeing schedules, plans, and approaches, while adapting to changing needs. You’ll also provide clear and transparent updates on progress, risks, and any challenges along the way.
Beyond managing processes, you’ll be a trusted mentor and coach—guiding and supporting our testing team, sharing best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment. Your ability to lead with empathy and communicate effectively will help ensure strong risk assessments, comprehensive testing coverage, and continuous improvement.

A little about you
- Strong background in testing within the Energy/Utility sector, bringing industry-specific insights.
- Extensive professional experience in Testing & Quality Management, ensuring high standards.
- Proven ability to develop test strategies for large, complex programs and projects.
- Skilled in leading and guiding teams, providing coaching and support to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments, delivering quality outcomes under broad direction.
- A natural collaborator, able to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in testing, project management, or a related field, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge in testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information, making it clear and accessible for different audiences.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, ITIL, and modern test delivery tools and approaches.
- Understanding of risk-based testing, automation strategies, and test analysis & design, ensuring effective and efficient testing outcomes.
