As a Project Controls Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping our electricity network thrive by bringing people, systems, and strategies together.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help bring our strategic vision to life—translating long-term asset goals into practical, people-first programs. Your ability to think ahead, work closely with others, and support the bigger picture will be essential in creating programs that serve both our customers and our planet.

• Support the delivery of thoughtful and efficient work programs that balance people, performance, and sustainability.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure our plans align with the needs of the business and community.
• Use your attention to detail and problem-solving skills to help improve how we manage data, timelines, and budgets.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in how we manage our assets, always with a focus on care, quality, and long-term outcomes.
• Be a reliable support in important processes like regulatory submissions, forecasting, and reporting—ensuring we meet expectations with integrity and care.
• Share your knowledge and encourage best practice by guiding others in systems, documentation, and project processes. 

About You

You're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and finding smart, sustainable solutions. You bring both empathy and precision to your work, and you’re always looking for ways to support others and improve how things are done.

• A background in Engineering, Accounting, or similar
• Understanding of electricity networks or infrastructure (or a strong desire to learn)
• Strong sense of responsibility and commercial awareness
• Comfortable working with data and exploring what it means
• Great communication skills—you listen well and explain clearly
• Familiarity with SAP (PM, PS, IM) or similar systems
• Experience in planning or managing programs is helpful
• Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
